Valentine's-Themed Sugar Cookie Decorating Class

Skills taught include:

• Royal Icing Basics

• Piping

• Outlining/flooding

Icing prep & cookie baking is done before class. Each student will leave with 6 decorated cookies, a royal icing and sugar cookie recipe, and the knowledge to apply these techniques at home.

Mackensie is a cottage baker in Jo Daviess County, specializing in custom cakes, cookies & pies. She loves to share her expertise and love of baking with others through hands-on classes. She was classically trained at Kendall College in Chicago and has spent the last 10 years traveling around the country, baking all along the way. She started her business, Whisk and Wander Culinary Co. last year and enjoys getting involved with the community.
